Turkey’s first contemporary boutique art hotel, Casa Dell’Arte Residence is a unique seafront, stylish hotel located in one of the most enchanting spots of Bodrum, the old fishermen’s village of Torba.
Every stone, every painting, every sculpture at the hotel is an original piece of artwork. The Buyukkusoglu family collection is exhibited throughout the hotel; in the lobby, in the rooms, in common areas, in the garden and even by the pool for the guests’ enjoyment.
The hotel’s clean, modern lines and unique design embrace the past and present. Old stones from Kayseri* and one-of-a-kind antique door from Edirne** were used in the hotel’s construction. The design and the layout of the hotel is so delicately put together, it complements art. The furniture in the common areas is antique furniture that the Buyukkusoglu family has collected over the years. Guests can wake up facing contemporary Turkish masterpieces by Fikret Mualla or Nuri İyem, have breakfast aside a Komet, sip coffee while watching a Botero or dine in a room with sculptures that one would have a chance to view maybe only in a contemporary art museum. There are over 200 Turkish paintings displayed at the hotel, the pieces displayed at the public areas are revolving every year.
Art exhibits varying from contemporary art to photography, objects and ethnic culture are exhibited at the art gallery in the hotel premises.
There are individually decorated 12 guest suites at the hotel. The left wing of the hotel, comprising of 6 suites, is the exact mirror image of the right side. All suites are named after signs of horoscopes and authentic, unique artworks from the family collection catch the eye in each of the loft-like suites. To pop up the paintings, the rooms are all decorated in white and cream colors. All of the beds and closets in the rooms are custom built by Turkish and Italian furniture makers. All suites are equipped with LCD screen televisions, satellite system, DVD, wireless internet connection, electronic safe, individually controlled air-conditioning, smoke detector, mini bar and selective daily care products. Luxurious yet never ostentatious, the Casa Dell’Arte Residence lives and breathes the aesthetic and cultural atmosphere of past, present and the future.
The private outdoor pool, private beach and private jetty are only some of the privileges that Casa Dell’Arte Residence offers to its guests. There is a jacuzzi in the middle of the garden with a fabulous sea view. And Kids below the age twelve aren’t allowed to stay in the residence section to provide the ultimate romantic getaway for couples.
Spa services include massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Guests may receive spa services in their own suite, at the beach or garden. Guest can continue their workout routine and stay fit with the hotel’s recreational amenities that include a fully equipped outdoor fitness center. There is also a hair salon in premises for beauty treatments.
