Similar to water skiing or wake boarding but instead of a boat, the skier is pulled along by an overhead cable suspended 8-12 meters above the water. Cable skiing is claimed to be safer, cleaner and more environmentally friendly that traditional speed boat skiing and since no boat is needed, it is also cheaper.
